The Moon with Jupiter
I'm not sure if it was an official conjunction tonight, but in my world it was. The Moon and Jupiter were close enough to get in the same frame when taking pictures tonight. For some reason, my camera was not behaving, so I was only able to get a couple of decent shots.

Lol, hey in my world too it was a conjunction, actually it was and the night after as well, the Moon was on the other side of Jupiter, anyways excellent shots Colin!! Right now there is a lightning storm going on, well at least lightning, I'm just watching this time though, I'll call you to let you know so you can take some shots if you like.
ReplyDeleteHey Bob. Glad you like the photos. I was going to take some last night with Jupiter closer and on the other side of the Moon, but was too busy. I was outside when the lightning storm was happening. I wanted to try to take some photos of it, but once again, was too busy. I've never photographed lightning, and afraid time is running out before winter to try to do that.

Hey Astro-Nut, so that's what it was. We have been excellent weather for 'mooning' lol, it was bright and spotted twice on the horizon, and as always when there is something good I don't have my camera ready, lol. But I took some later, and you know what, to me it is always different moon. Thanks for sharing. Anna :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Anna. I always say that the Moon is never the same, no matter how many times you see it. I'm glad you've been able to have some fun "mooning". I don't have my camera lots of times either, and when I do, it's cloudy.
